Doesnt matter, north winds would be completely wrong for it anyway.

Board for such an adventure?

6'5". Not overly thick but a really flat deck...JET01 wrote:
What size is it?
Tried it some onshore close outs today, not really right conditions for it. Just put some decent fins in and took out the crappy glass flex ones, see what the next few days brings.

For what I gather you'd be needing it for, thats the type of design you should be looking for (good amount of rocker, curved more shortboard type outline).
I'd avoid anything too straight rail lined and flat in design (don't bother with those southern Californian late sixties platform based shapes unless you only plan on surfing smaller weakerstuff).
As discussed before, I'd happy to give you a loan of my old 6'11 single fin pintail. It'll give you a good feel for the type of lines you'll be drawing and how a pulled in pintail feels holding into the wave and turning. and down the line drive on that thing is insane in long solid overhead walls

Rule #1.
When you attempt to sell something do not include a photograph of yourself doing a dodgy repair.
