Re: Ebay Bargains thread
Looks like the boards at the old DY surf store with the difference being they would be 320 a board.
Re: Ebay Bargains thread
He has probably scavenged all of those boards from the local council roadside cleanups.

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
Not on gumtree but went into the Sunhouse at Coolangatta a couple of days ago and they had one of NPJ jr's personal duos for sale.
Looked okay on the bottom but geez the deck was dented all to shit and sinking either side of the stringer in the tail.
They still wanted $700 for it.
JaM71 and I went and had a sticky at Cooly surf after that.
They had a sale one with a beautiful new Simon Jones Tracks twinny for not much more.
Now lets ask about JaM71 about his custom order....!

In Drummoyne and with twenty boards at $20 apiece he would be able to keep the landlord at bay for about 4 days. In fact as that ad is over a week old he has probably been evicted by now.Beerfan wrote:Gotta pay the rent somehow

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
Interesting on the Duo deck. I have had two quartets and they are solid as a rock. I have a 2+1 that I have had for years now and it caved early as well but still going strong so I'm wondering if the fin boxes combined with the thinner tails cause this . 700 for an experimental board is waaaaaaaaaaaay to much anyway.
Re: Ebay Bargains thread
My NPJ's are solid. Great quality.

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
i have a 5'3 squail - pretty much the same board - with less rocker and a square tail - i'd be tempted, too.saltman wrote:If I didn't have 5-6 in the making I would be very tempted to try and pick it up sub $400batoes wrote:maybe $450 is too much for some, but when they often go for $850 second hand...

Re: Ebay Bargains thread
cheap retro thruster in pretty good clean condition.
Lightening Bolt brand, fixed fins, swallow tail. 6'5 X 21 X 2.75 with one of those single channels running thru the tail section (forget what they called them). Prob from the late eighties to very early ninities?
Would be suited to a bigger or older bloke (your typical realsurfer ) as an all rounder. Looks like a fun beach break board.
Sydney $85
