I wasnt even at my favourite type of surf. Smnrnnttl told us about a great session he had with a pro surfer up North Narrabeen way, every surf should be like that.

Late dropping into decent size, power and speed and when you expect a punch in the side of the head, look up bottom turning and it opens up and lets you do your thing.

3 foot of groundswell on a nice bank, crystal water, offshore, just a couple of crew swapping waves

Actually, the surf I just had. 3 to 5 ft on perfect sand bank with a stiff offshore and 14 second interval swell, just me for an hour then a few more.

You would have liked it biggun:-)
