Not that I recall. But I'm old.
I thought I remember seeing TOTY in his signature
Could be wrong
He won it then left, didn't he?

More or less the same size as the ones down south....must be juveniles.
Saw a pod of dolphins chasing bait fish yesterday at south Bondi. A guy was swimming way out. Gave him a fright. You could see the fish rippling right into the south corner with the Dolphins following. Icebergs is a good vantage point.

And they didn't send a killing team in, they just asked swimmers to leave the water.

Small sharks, are they a problem?
A long time ago in Bali I was surfing regularly with a guy from Cali. He was a carpenter. His left calf and ankle was a mess, it looked like he'd dropped a circular saw on it or something equally disastrous.
One day I asked him what happened.
He said, "I was surfing in Mexico and there were a few little dog sharks around, 2' to 3', which we ignored. Suddenly I felt one grab me by the ankle and thresh around (as they do) taking a bite".
It ripped the shit out of his ankle and lower calf. He had to be air lifted back to Cali. A few weeks in hospital, lots of surgery, $10,000 and 6 months recuperation before he was working or surfing. All from a tiny little dog shark.

Cranked rides pop outs and lives in fear of dog sharks.
An early contender for 2018 toty...
