It'll be just like the Love Boat, without women, and no boat.

The pic above is of course Bimbimbi House, "the grand old lady of Bermagui".
Its set up as bed and breakfast, perfect for the realsurf official south coast getaway destination. Braithy would of course act as "mine host" and provide various treats for the guests for a nominal fee (Mon to Thurs, 11am - 2pm)
Its lovingly hand-crafted in 1940 from timber milled on site.
Actor Billy Connolly stayed here 2001 while filming The Man Who Sued God - a far-fetched tale about a fisherman (Connolly/Shearer?) who attempts to sue God after his boat was destroyed by lightning and his insurers refuse to pay claiming the destruction as an "Act of God".

I was thinking Penong but the wife doesn't really like the idea, so we'll stay in the bay. In town , less grass to cut.marauding mullet wrote:Staying in the area crustt?crustt wrote:I just sold my house, pick me up on your way through.swvic wrote:My job finishes next Wednesday, Braithy. As fickle as this place is, the waves are pretty good and there is heaps of work.

Number of attacks zero. Therefore that data is useless
Erase.

Potential locations for new fish and chip shops.

Around 16 fatalities since 2000, including 5 in a 10 month period. Compared to the area from around Perth to Margaret River the rest of the world doesn't really have a shark fatality problem at all.The Mighty Sunbird wrote:Number of attacks zero. Therefore that data is useless

I was thinking of going for a surf yesterday, which is why I checked out the shark situation, I was going to surf at Avalon but they hadn't yet published this sighting: "Public report 2.7m unknown sp. shark sighted 12:01 hrs 26/11, Avalon Beach, Mandurah 200m offshore."
