Thanks Beany. Its good to know that there's a solid cadre of professionals that neophytes can rely on for training tips and techniques: things like how to pace yourself in the build up, and the myriad details and subtleties that go into a well run and professional TOTY campaign. Gone are the halcyon days when the trophy could be won almost by accident. Natural ability will only get you so far now, its a hard grind, the season has only just finished, but the pros are already plotting their campaign strategy.

News in from the Northern Rivers.
NSWDPI advise a 3.4m F White Shark tagged and released off South Ballina Beach today using SMART Drumline tech.It was Released 1.2k offshore.
On Jan 16 NSWDPI caught and tagged a 4.5m white shark 500m offshore at Evans Head 1km north of the river using smart drumline technology.It was also released further out to sea.


NSWDPI SMART Drumlines have recaptured shark 66, 3.5m F at Lennox Point and released offshore. Previously tagged at Sharpes Beach in Nov. Jan16.



For some bizarre reason the bigger whites seem to be hanging around. 4.5m is getting up there.
