Seems to be a lot of Bull sharks being spotted and picked up on receivers. This them moving up to warmer waters from the south? Am I imagining things? Experts?

Weird how attacks seem to come in groups. Or am I imagining that...

Was in the surf at Longy this morning when the siren sounded and they closed the beach due to a shark.

They called it "aggressive".

I was hoping it would be friendly or approachable.

Something like a more zany dolphin would be good.

The term ‘surf’ used loosely I assume?

If you wanna surf 1ft onshore Longy, you deserve to be eaten by a shark.

Do try to keep up, skip.

You're spending too much time in radical left land.

A week of good waves, despite the bastards opening all the river mouths along the coast, surfing in black water was getting a bit creepy.

I miss that part of my old job. Gellibrand is a pretty nice estuary. The channel narrows up past the camp. Not more than a couple of metres wide with indigenous riparian vegetation. 8 m deep

Can't navigate beyond the bridge that is intended for vehicle access up to Rivernook and Cats, but it's gated and locked by the farmer on the coast side. He did the lockout years ago, but then we (the taxpayers) built a new bridge. Rangers at Port Campbell told me at the time that public access was going to be re-established, but as soon as the bridge was completed, old mate put in new gates and locked 'em tight

That whole stretch coast is sharky as fcuk. Rivers open or closed doesn't matter
