DY thieves
Several people have had their surflocks smashed and stuff stolen from their cars in DY/Longy carparks over the last week. Thought they were a pretty safe option. Beware if you surf in that area.

Re: DY thieves
surflocks, huh? a good mate was trying to convince me to buy one, too.
is the best option still, the key in the wettie/ boardshorts? i've never used anything else.

Re: DY thieves
I guess they were born out of the whole electronic key thing. I've been happy to use one, but am having second thoughts. I've got a blank done off my electronic key. Think I'll be chucking it in the leggie from now on. Stupid Need wetsuit doesn't have a key holder.
Re: DY thieves
I thought most of that element were priced out of DY a few years back. Surprised it's happening at Longie as well though.
Re: DY thieves
There's still some scumbags at DY. I believe that DY has the only pawnshop on the northern beaches which is always an indication of the socio-economic mix.
I read in a recent MD how a local surfer was given a courtesy car while his car was being repaired. The courtesy car didn't have a waterproof key or a second non-electronic key so he carefully secreted the electronic key near his front suspension while he went for a surf at Curly. When he came back all including wallet and phone looked OK and intact. That afternoon his bank phoned to let him know that his credit card was maxed out. Although he didn't see anyone in the car park when he went for a surf obviously some scumbag was spying on him.

Thanks for the tip, I'm there 3-4 times a week.

you two tards.
the humiliation of forest gump'ing the lineup with keys around your neck is surely much worse than auto-theft, yeah?
Re: DY thieves
I do the key in the leggie, its worth getting your electronic key cut.
Al this is gold. "She didn't realise I was fairly high and spent much of the evening trying to figure out why a purple and orange cow wanted me to climb a tree."

Re: DY thieves
Get Fcuked, Braithy. The key is actually under my wettie. Can't do the leggie stash because the key is too long for my slender ankles to bear. Can only be solved by Need putting in a key pocket, but that'd blow out the price by $1.24 per unitBraithy wrote:swvic wrote:That is a failing. You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
