Time for the rubber to hit the road...
Hopefully this will be a big break and we'll get to see the Ghost boards in some waves of consequence.
What's happening is that we have a crowdfunding event on the go with Anthony Tashnick, Grant 'Twiggy' Baker, Chris Mumford, Heath Joske and Jeff Goulden on board, I'm very grateful to them for putting their names and bodies on the line.
So if you'd like to see some mayhem then you know the drill... share the campaign around, contribute if you wish or even just heckle to bounce the thread,
Cheers.

Yeah boring I know... big wave chargers in heavy water with unique gun designs... meh let's play fantasy surfer instead nothing to see here.... besides, he's after money and that's just not right... 'taint fair, 'taint right, 'taint proper but it's Cpt. Goodvibes approved so there.

It's all here Steve: http://igg.me/at/Ghost-riders
It started with a conversation which Jeff Goulden, Maurice Cole and I had recently.
I'd been going on about how great this design will be for huge waves for years, but making them in wood meant ridiculously low numbers of boards made, and although the wooden boards last very well and are pretty ding resistant they don't have the ultimate strength needed ( unless I glass them).
Since going to foam however we've been able to get the strength, and also by introducing a modest amount of profile taper the higher buoyancy required as well.
So, we thought we'd crowd fund it to bring all the people involved together, and make a bit of an event out of it.
So far we have $41

There are sets of four as perks on the campaign but if you just want a pair we can work something out.

Steve was riding one of our Spitfires in a bonzer recently as I recall and might have some feedback on the fin size.
Price for a 6.5" is AU$95 but I might have something suitable aand cheaper s a 'second' in either Spitfire or Gull Wing. The seconds are all good, usually just a slight streak in the colour.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.
Skipper
I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I also have a few bonzer seconds for futures ( good as 2+1 in a pair) if anyone's keen. We have them in 8 degree cant as well ( normal is 19 degrees) and have had good feedback on them.

Do you have a board available for use in the Catlins at present? Without the international "team" it could be being used here & now. Those boys down there are still getting international exposure...
