Ive got surf forecast open as a tab and after 3-4 weeks of checkjng it daily i still cant discern any relation between their forecasts and reality.

Well, its like this, people mistakenly believe its science, but its not. Its just that when enough people truly believe in that swell it will happen - with our thoughts we create the world!

scam site Jimmy! was that from instagram?
Yeah after I bought the pants I put my card on hold just in case.
I only know because a mate sent me the link after buying a wettie and then got a call from his bank...
totally a scam site. The contact us page and shipping and returns info page has zero information of their warehouse address, phone number, or anything. No details about them being a registered business either.

Yesterday, Magic Seaweed said the surf on Mon at Lennox head was going to be 13 and a half foot.

Today they are saying it will be 9 foot.

Is there a tribunal where these wrongs can be held to account?
Are you quite sure you're using it right? Unlike for round here, magic seaweed doesn't attempt to guess how big the actual waves at Lennox will be, rather it gives a forecast of the swell out on the buoys. So (and here we are again) today Magic seaweed is forecasting 3ft @ 12 secs and the latest reading from the Byron Bay wave buoy is 3.3 ft @ 11.45 secs.

For Monday, they (and I'm guessing the likes of Buoyweather too) are saying that the swell on the buoys will start off at around 8ft @ 9 secs and drop during the day. Genuine question: is this not valuable information? Like, if I know what the swell is forecast to do on our main buoy (which was all Magic seaweed used to attempt to do before presumably updating their actual wave height algorithm a few years ago) then I can work out how big it's gonna be at every spot I surf and then use wind forecasts and tide data to pick where I'll go

It says Lennox Head surf forecast.

Now they are saying it will be 7.5ft on Mon.

And the Ballina surf forecast for mon says 3-5ft.

Do they know Ballina picks up more swell than Lennox?

So, it's gone from 13.5 ft to 9ft to 7.5ft all in 2 days and they think it will be bigger than Ballina.

Apostrophised plural. Nice

Have a look at the Ballina report. See that blue bar on the left under the heading 'SURF'? That's their estimate of the height of the waves on the beach. Now have a look at the Lennox report. Do you see that blue bar or the heading 'SURF'? No you do not. Just a star rating for the swell. Two different forecasts telling you slightly different things. We'll get there eventually steve, but you're gonna have to do a bit of the heavy lifting yourself

And the forecasts adjusting the swell from 13 to 9 to 7.5 feet is just putting a number to

There are a lot of photos of Lennox on that Magic Seaweed page. Some of them are pretty good.

Apparently there's a shaper in Lennox who makes a board called the "Pub Crawler". Any ideas?

Flaming heck Godsave, are you on the payroll from these bumbling amateurs?

It says Lennox Head Surf Report and Forecast (not Byron Buoy forecast) and then has a little graph with Lennox Head Surf Forecast and below the graph a title (breaking wave height (ft)) ......I think that is clear enough.

They are saying Lennox head will be 7ft on Mon and Ballina will be 3-4ft. Breaking wave height brother.

I want these cnuts in stocks parading down the main street so I can pelt them with rotten eggs, do you hear me?
