Yeah, some of those board auctions in Hawaii are crazy. Had four MPs over the years. The first and last having all the logos the other two had more random signatures.e.g. Harry Bolt alias Michael Peterson.

Fcuk, second trip to the icebergs since the lifting of lockdown and saw the second rescue in the rip in front of the pool. This time it was a race between duelling paddle boards to get to the kid first. Lifesaver vs Lifeguard. Lifeguard started later, made up the ground then got stuck. Managed to just edge the clubbie out and then struggle to get in against the rip.

Probably filming it for Bondi Rescue. Noted your 2nd visit to Icebergs - upstairs or the club ?

Club of course. Fcuk paying a squillion dollars when you can eat at the Bistro downstairs. Had to wait until people left due to Covid Restrictions. They lift on Monday though I think. Someone had booked for a function. Looked like a Hens Night when they finally showed up.
Re: Bondi Rescue I don’t think they have started filming yet. This is the longest they have left the sandbanks alone for though so there’s some major gutters. Goodish banks too.

Harry Grant, the surfer.

Doing well considering he’s only young, and grew up on a stretch of barrier reef coast dabbling with “sometimes breaks”. Compare that to the die hards in my link below

Article in the Guardian about Slater possibly not being able to compete in Oz due to his vaccs stance. Might be time for him to hang up the singlet anyway.

How would you feel if the grom in your heat at the local boardriders pulled this off?

Here's a flip:

Well boo will still say it's not a flip.

If Jordy kept up that youthful flare he could've won a title. And that was on his weaker side, backhand.

Just watched some footage of that Ethan Ewing. Dude shreds, how come he’s not WC already?

Ethan Ewing is on the WSL main tour.
He qualified first at the age of 17 for the 2017 season. He seemed over-awed. He did not do well. He fell off the tour.
He re-qualified for the 2021 tour. He did better. He made a couple of quarter finals. He will be on tour next year.

Coincidentally, I had a long chat with Ethan’s mother on the beach at Straddie in about 2001. Helen Lambert (Ewing). Ethan would have been a toddler. She was a nice straight-talking person and a stylish powerful surfer. She had won a Bells and also an Indonesian Pro at Nias. She said she had been thru a recent cancer bout and hoped that was over with. She died of cancer a few years after our meeting.
