My pair of Jack Freestone Boardies did not noticeably improve my surfing performance....just saying.

I watched that heat. He looked great but it is only 2ft surf.

I was at a barbe Saturday and there was lots of "my Tomo sucked". Might be that they are for advanced riders.

Anyone ridden the Hayden Holy Grail? Like the look of the side cut (tip to Rodney Ball and Mackie).

I had a Tomo (v4 I think). 5'8" or 9, pointy nose. One of the best boards I've ever had. Tried it several times as a quad and didn't like it at all, but as a thruster it went unreal forehand and backhand

I bought it unseen and unriddenfrom a guy who once frequented RS. Tomo made it for him, but he judged it not enough foam upon receipt

PU/PE. Blank disintergrated around the plugs. Throwaway construction unfortunately

Looks to me that way too many are expecting the horrible bloated versions would surf differently than they seem to

Tomo rips on his own boards. Never tried one but I don't think they would suit my style.

Showing shape, with a mix of south and east swell with light NW wind, albeit crowded. Pic from CW.

Not last Tuesday I didn’t. Maroubra can get really fkn good when the planets align.

But have scored well over the past few days though. Mostly throaty reef surf, and yesterday a tricky overhead beach break but punchy with some screamers
