Have had no trouble with Balin, but I get the thickest ones in 7’
Something I read on S/net about ditching them after 2 years max regardless of brand.

https://staycovered.com/pages/australia-sales, Kirk Birke recommended them as he and others around the area have been using them in some pretty solid waves.

Local point has a bubble to take off on and bomb sets get you if the swell is pushy, so yeah it is from throwing my board. But these are 8' leggies and they always break in the same spot.

Here's some stylish surfing from Tyler Warren. Well I think it's stylish.

Yep, nice fluid, minimalist style.

The only fins I saw were quads, right?

There were bonzer fins on the orange board, maybe the one with coloured rails too.

was a bit repetitive, watching the same surfer on the same wave over and over is a bit boring. he didn't look like those boards were really working for him.

I thought he handled the small stuff a lot better than the big stuff.......like most surfers.

He did fine in the bigger stuff. Most here wouldn't have paddled out.

Sure but arguably not in the same league as his performance in smaller waves.

Perspective. Tyler Warren is lead hipster dude. Give him a tri fin and he probably would have obliterated the waves, although as observed he is quite light footed. Some of those cutties are insane. But it's all personal
