there's tons of surf coming Trev.

I just feel the need to hose down Carroll's hype, more for my own mental stability.

I'm thinking about going up to Bangalow to visit my dear old Mum in the week of the 1st. If I was to nip down to the Pass once or twice, what sort of crowds might I expect?

expect it too be wild, but easy to catch waves due to the overwhelming kookiness of the crowd.

Unbelievably I went there with my son today and on the Australia Day long weekend with a headhigh trade swell running we surfed it with less than a dozen people.

we fukn gorged ourselves on 2-800m peeling rights in 27 degree Tahitian blue water.

back yourself on any kind of funky wind/slack wind morning.
I think a mid-high tide dropping is best for the bank.

If you can take a short but reasonably voluminous twinny or quad (something fast anyway) you’ll do well.

I got an Apple Watch for my birthday and have been getting my head around what I can get out of it whilst surfing. So I got the Surfline app and signed up to be a premium user so that Nick can afford more fine wine and surfboards.
I wouldn’t have surfed but thought I’d go to see what the watch did. It’s pretty cool.
The surf was absolute rubbish but when I got back to the car I got to watch all my waves. It’s hardly Nick at 8ft Sunset but I gotta say that I got a kick out of me surfing 1ft waves on my undersized MR. 😂

My wave is around the 10 sec mark. I’m really keen to give the feature a go in some decent waves.

Speaking of local forecasts Steve. Is it worthwhile heading your way tomorrow for a left that requires a barge?

Speaking of which, what's the surf like around the end of March down your way offy?
Thinking of heading to the banks.
What sort of wettie will I need?

We were planning a ski trip but the quarantine requirements are pretty restrictive.
