Alkali fins classic single.
https://www.alkalifins.com/shop/fins/classic-single/

I like the widow maker single template but it might be too much fin for the board.

They've got the range at the old Mike Cundith shop at Byron.

True Ames Greenough 7 inch 2+1 also looks like a good arounder.

Although 6 1/2 inch maybe good too but possibly too short if you just want to ride as a single.

I'm sure someone will hammer me for these suggestions. My 2 cents.

I have a few different sets but the shortest board is 6'6.

5'10. Will be interested to see how that rolls.

Cheers Stephen. So I don’t want to buy hundreds of fins until I find the right one(s). Should I be going bigger if I ride it as a single and smaller if I add side fins? I’m totally retarded with my knowledge on this stuff. Will text you a couple of photos.

My offer to lend you a few to test still stands, Jimmy.
I'll be on the Tweed coast for the weekend.

Though most of mine are a bit big.

Thanks Thud. Good input. Looking at the link Shearer sent a 6 1/2 inch is recommended up to 6ft boards. Might get me one of those. But thinking I might give Deadkooks a go. Heard they’ve got awesome fins.

Just saw this on the The Gumtree. Might pick it up because it’s only 10 mins from me and $20 is pretty cheap.

That fin is yuck.

Get a proper fin Jimmy, don't be a tight arse.

Start with a 6.5.

I've got some fins around here if you come down. We'll go test them at the Point.

Steve. As I said. I know nothing about this side of things. Im happy to spend money but just saw it and though, why not it’s only $20 and I can surf the board tomorrow. Another retarded question. I always use tail pads but it doesn’t seem right to put one on this board. Just answered my question. Wax FTW!
Will give you a bell when I’m coming down and I’d love to test fins at the point. Cheers.

Of course it would be. Occy was doing turns better that in the 80’s on boards that were like boats compared to a pyzel phantom
