I see full deck grip making a comeback with the front foot pads back. anyone using them yet? I used them all through the 90s and early
2000s till they went out of, I guess youd have to say, fashion lol. I reckon they were awesome. sure u couldn't go without a rashie or your
guts would be torn up, but hey, it was forced sun protection! they provide a lot of protection for the deck as well. the decks on all
my boards with wax get pounded by my heel but my old boards with full grip would barely get half the damage/sinkage to the foam.
also no melted wax in car on a hot day, no worries about having to remember to chuck wax in the car.
the only thing I see wrong though with the new setups, is they aren't making that small mid section pad, so if you bring your front foot in front of the back pad to get across a dead section, or move up for a barrel, theres no traction.

There's a thin, clear deck grip around, it looks pretty good, about $80 full deck, i.e. three panels

Versa traction works well. And no wax is pretty cool.

I hate deck grip. I'm thinking of cutting the tailpad off this fish I have "done up".
Just something to trip over when you are struggling to stand up in a pathetic manner due to old age.
