yeah it sure looks like, for the shark it's a real spare of the moment decision. they kinda look like a dog addicted to playing ball. they see something move and come after it.

some follow through and take a bite, and some don't.

thinking of all the attacks I've read about, most of them are in that moment of moving, lying down on the board. I can't recall too many where they were just chilling sitting on their board and then attacked.
