Re: Bells
Not watching the contest but tuned into the Coastalwatch "Badcast" the WSL should get these boys on board and replace the current team. They seem to be having a bit of fun not taking themselves to serious good alternative doubt they will go to hard though.

Re: Bells
The badcast has some funny stories, though I'm not sure there's much truth in most of them. A combo of this and the official commentary could actually be listenable
Re: Bells
Yeah, the badcast is alright... better... but yeah, not hard when you compare what its up against.

Forecast indicates they might find the unicorn. 10 - 12 foot and offshore at Margs for Day 1 is the current forecast.Braithy wrote:@channels
No problem with that, 8-ft Bells would be in my top 3 or 4 waves to watch on tour.
Except reality is a bitch for any 12-day waiting period, how much 8-ft Bells bowl have we ever seen? Whistle clean 10-12ft Margs is a spectacle. But again the law of probability tells me we might see it once a decade in a CT event.
WSL needs to stop chasing unicorns

Re: Bells
Remain faithful young Braithwaite ... I've just flipped through the "I Ching", tipped some tea leaves out onto the quija board and rolled the crystal ball over the top of them for good measure ... Margs is going to be epic, truly epic ... hold on to your hat kinda stuff. Fluff those pillows and get that popcorn poppin.Braithy wrote: yeah well they're due. they're probs due for more than just one day of swell, huh?

No excuse with this much notice.tonks wrote:This might sound like a stupid question, but will they have boards for solid 12ft Margs?

The wind prediction is SE to S (that's the prevailing wind at this time of year in the mornings), so there'll be some chop on the face to contend with as that is cross off to sideshore
