Chia doesn't need to be capitalised, Surfing Life does, and the femur is the strongest bone.
Apart from that, very easy on the eyeballs.
yeah, funny thing is ... I know the femur was the strongest too when i wrote it. still, the humerus must get second place and when you're a writer, second place is just as good as first or fourth haha
glad its easy on the eyes ... that's all i was wanting, basic & easy

Nuh, you offer the model the right to use your pics for free in her portfolio and she gets to gain experience at the same time. All without you charging her for your expertise and timeBraithy wrote:A new one. your daily greens.

Are you open to contributions? I'm thinking of kickstarting off my journalism career with a visit to Beef Week and exposé on the whole Queef Queen saga - I'm going to rip the lid right off this.
Any by rip the lid right off I mean...
Re: new project
Please post an invitation to that Black Duck, his contributions of female nudes is without par.
The the Pro Boners can then be self sustaining.
I can however foresee the WSL accreditation being withdrawn, I suspect genuine freelance coming from the outside alley looking in.
NO embedded journalism. !

ah otz ... outside alley is to do with the photography side of the site -- photo gallery, we're outside etc etc. its named after the big days at my local break.otway1949 wrote:Please post an invitation to that Black Duck, his contributions of female nudes is without par.

journalism and writing is a bit of an afterthought with the site. It was the photographers themselves encouraging me to write.
you are right though ... wsl accreditation means very little. actually it means nothing. at the wsl events, they like to have a controlled environment and platform for which journos can work from. all the outgoing information is monitored and scripted, the surfers well rehearsed. the real meat is knowing people inside the walls.
it's why I like to work off the grid.

Just needs a forum section. I can recommend a few contributors.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

that's awesome tonks!
from the ones i've ridden, DMS epoxy carbon wraps, dynocores etc ... they really do take a hammering, they don't yellow like the PU's. the dms i have at the moment, i took the wax off it on the weekend and put some new wax on. it's 14 months old, and looks like its 3 months.
the board has paid for itself 3 or 4 times over.
Re: new project
I surfed the first board I ever got from huie again recently after a hiatus of a year or more. It's got wood skins and is 5-6 years old.
Lightweight pu foam, total weight about 10% more than a stock board as I like it.
Some subsequent boards with more advanced technology I've sent back because they were too light.
It is a 5'10" quad and I've surfed it from 1' to 8', mush to dredging low tide closeouts.
It's in remarkable shape. Got foot grooves, couple of rail dings but would have been landfill 20 times over if it was a normally produced board.

i'm sure you posted pics of that board from huie, didn't you?
that's what i'm talking about though! the longevity from them is amazing. if only more people would try them, like that dad in the article with the 12 yr old son. problem is the son thinks he's the next dane reynolds.
this DMS i have, my last trip interstate (vicco) i took it with me, i didn't have a board bag so just took the fins out and let it fly naked. it's 14 months old and looks 3 ... still whiter than my teeth and the glass is in excellent shape. few depressions, but still ...
Re: new project
Yep, for a little bit extra price wise, you get a board that surfs great, lasts ages and doesn't lose its "pop". But the pros don't ride them in heats, and apparently a dented deck is a sign of a good surfer so poly still rules hahaha
