2nd board

Post by decorob » Sat Feb 14, 2015 3:57 pm

Hey guys

What board should I get next. My first board was a 6'6 dominator (45.2l) and I feel that it is too much volume for me now. I have been surfing on it for about 1 year in a whole range of conditions. Does anyone have a recommendation. All feedback greatly valued

cheers

I have been told to get the hypto krypto by loads of people and have ridden my cousins 6'4 and it felt great and the paddling was amazing. But I just can't tell whether to get it as a 6'2 because the volume gap is 6.5 litres and a 6'4 is only 2l less and I can't tell whether 6.5l is too much of a gap between surfboards.

Well that's it then. A Hypto Krypto. Proceed to checkout. Now it just comes down to which fins and what tailpad.

But the HK got "board of the year" in 2014. Don't settle for second best.

What makes the Hypto so popular for those who ride them?

Alternatively - put on a lot of weight. Quite a few guys on this forum are major fatties.

Hypto Krypto sightings are becoming scarcer and scarcer on the southern gold coast. More often than not it's a kook signifier.

go find a local shaper and talk to them.
