Nah. I'd suggest the Brooky Hotel for that.andy2476 wrote:time and tide. is this a catch up for ice picks depression thread ? why not go all the way and hit Mona vale hotel and terry hills tavern as well?

Count me in, Iggy. Im always keen for these things. My preference would be a Surry Hills restaurant/pub thing in the late arvo.

Re: RS BBQ Sydney Dec 13 Sat (location poll up)
Surely the CBD and surrounds has more on offer than Lakemba?

Re: RS BBQ Sydney Dec 13 Sat (location poll up)
coops. there's other options up now. check the poll. and i can't add more options otherwise it kills and resets all the other votes back to zero as far as i know. perhaps TrevG can verify if the surry hills/cbd option can be added without nuking the other votes?
but speaking on votes and locations. there's now 13 votes up in total, and 8 of them for long reef.
though i can only see 9 attendees in total so far. and certainly not all of them are from northern beaches, or would be choosing long reef in preference of the other options.
so if you're one of the 8 that's voted for the long reef option, though haven't yet outted yourself as an attendee - then fking well out come of the closet and announce yourself instead of hiding behind the keyboard and just clicking "long reef" on the locations polls as your only committed action.

I can't be sure about this. We did have something like that happen a while back. But if I play with it now, we could lose all the votes, so best to stay with what you've got.Hatchnam wrote:coops. there's other options up now. check the poll. and i can't add more options otherwise it kills and resets all the other votes back to zero as far as i know. perhaps TrevG can verify if the surry hills/cbd option can be added without nuking the other votes?

PS. Maybe you could edit the Avalon text to show Surry Hills/ CBD.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Al this is gold. "She didn't realise I was fairly high and spent much of the evening trying to figure out why a purple and orange cow wanted me to climb a tree."

i've edited the city option now as follows.andy2476 wrote:what about young henry's brewery in enmore ?
"Surry Hills / CBD / Inner West
so all/any suggestion within this locale all fall under the one banner.
closer to the date (say by end Nov), if that horse takes the lead, then whoever voted for "Surry Hills / CBD / Inner West" can thumbwrestle over "where" it's happening.
Re: RS BBQ Sydney Dec 13 Sat (location poll up)
18 location votes minus 10 outed attendees = 8 lurkers that need to get their name on the list.
No point running an event at a given location if the location votes are being stacked by non-attendees or lurkers.
So if you clicked on the poll, then fkn "out yourself" as planning on going. Not just clicking buttons.

I was one of the lurkers, I'll only go if it's in Cronulla. It's close to home and I have other things on that day that I'll need to get in, trying to kill two birds with one stone.
