Roy,
what size fin and foil would you suggest for a 6'9 egg/minimal setup as a 2+1?

Cheers,
Scot

A 6.5" would be a good place to start.

Feedback we are getting is that the fins hold in and drive etc better than much taller conventional fins.

Otway has a set,
A BLEF and I ordered the Bonzer set up for the futures set up. I have been seriously impressed by the Bonzers in FCS set as 2+1 in an Outer Island board working with Mitchell Rae's single to double concaves with a vee section and an internal extra concave. Was able to take on well over double overhead T land in Rote and drive hard and high lines. A very happy trip!

The Futures Bonzer set up is for my boards that have the futures boxes as I don't want to miss out on their functions on these boards.
The BLEF has had a couple of outings at the bar and it is performing well as a single fin, it was a little squirrelly at first for two reasons , one I was not used to it and second I am now informed that it probably would have performed better if I had positioned it in the box about an inch to an inch and a half further back.
In performance it was really a strong point on which to pivot and the old ( really old style) leaning driving bottom turn worked well, nose riding was crisper and I was able to woggle the board down into pockets on the wave from the nose.
Still waiting for bigger surf to really push the BLEF and see how it goes.
Opinion as of now, a good working option for what and how I ride!
Happy to have one in my fin bag!

For some obscure reason the BLEF make me think of a kiosk sandwich, freudian channeling of Grooter ( maybe)

Other concerns I had about the fins was the 3D printing and strength but there has been no issues there, subliminally i thought of it as a bit like ink and thought they might dissolve ( NUH)!

I think Roy has delivered the goods here.
OH and Congratulations for selling the $1.5 million board. A long time arriving in a hail of slings and arrows from the unbelievers! :B

Fong (or anyone else for that matter), I have one you want to take it for a surf.
I have only had a few surfs on it and not sure I have noticed any major improvements. Definately no negative effects tho.
I have got myself another board to test it on which should give a better idea.
anyway if you want to give it a run let me know and we can work out how to do it.
