Not bashing Flipper, they are indeed an interesting critter, just tired of their appeal at expense of other sea creatures. And how they are an easy badge of honour for those who say they lurve the oceans.

I personally witnessed Dolphins being shot at sea when I was working on a Tuna boat in SA. They would attack our Pilchards at the side of the boat as they were being netted for live bait, no Pilchards=no tuna fishing. The .303 was never far away from the action.
They don't pole Tuna anymore in Port Lincoln, but when they did a lot of the crews were surfers, everybody had a go at it.
Hopefuly that was the bad old days. :(
