I don't use either though watching the footage from a phantom ie- jordy smith- bending colours, the two don't compare? Maybe you can teach me something though?

Is this Surfing?

Met a couple of eisbar surfers at Plomer.

They seemed very cool -and could surf a bit- but said the localism was gnarly.

Fancy that?

I love the part where the guy is serious when saying you can get really hurt. Maybe stub your toe getting out? Big respect though, if I had no waves I'd be frothing over it too.

Interesting how they say, you don't want to come here and learn, it's not for beginners.

Where would one go to learn river surfing then?

Angry old man seals that took offence to surfing his reef, horrible thing that would just harass you until you'd leave.

Fairy Penguin bit me on the toe at Susan Gilmore.

Was bumped by something, a shark I think low tide late arvo last summer. I don't surf the twilight session any more.

A slip n' slide with a finless soft top in ones backyard would be a perfect base to learn the art of river surfing?

I once mounted the misses on the front seat of my HR ute, not sure she'd fit on the dashboard though.
When it gets to this level of self important stupidity I lose interest.
