Keep the forums firing, everybody!

Post by admin » Sun Aug 25, 2013 5:55 pm

Hi all,
Don here.
Got a big favour to ask of each of you. Would you please go take a look at the RealSurf crowdfunding page on Pozible? More to the point, would you look at it and then kick something in?
Thanks in advance for checking it out!
Here'sthe link to the We're RealSurf project page on Pozible.

Hi Steve, which stats were you wanting me to post? I'm guessing the obvious stuff such as page views and uniques, right?

You can get that stuff from the members list already, Steve, you just have to do it individually.
Smnmntl posts 10.52 times a day.
Roughly double most of the high posters.

I guess the cat has no kids so needs something to fill the spiritual/biological vacuum.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Don, on the subject of upgrades to the site, could we get a comma in the thread title?

It's a trying enough time working in the environmental research field with an incoming Coalition government. For a second I thought I was getting sacked from Realsurf procrastination, too.

I don't think it needs a comma Boo.

It reads fine as a sentence.

Hmm. I put the comma in there but, I don't think it works. :-) Being English, it's "right" either way. Unlike the new government - which is all the way to the right.

Pretty cool that we've hit 20% of the goal in just 3 days. And huge thanks to those forum luminaries who turned up for the dawn patrol and got their pledges in straight away.

Now, how do we talk the rest of you into adding your names to the supporter list?

The fund raiser has reached 65% which is pretty encouraging.

However, things have been a bit slow of late, so if you haven't got around to pledging yet, please give it serious consideration.

Let's give Don something to work with.

Only 28 days left.

Hi all!
So, yep, we got there with a few days to spare. So now I'm hoping to get the total pledger count up to 200 - just because it'd be cool to have that many people who think enough of the site to kick in a little coin to the cause.
Hope I see a few of you fine folk at the big evening.
The midweek timing is less than optimal, but oh well, even if we only get 30 people along, it'll be a fun evening.
A sincere thank you to all who've made a pledge!

Don'll be back on deck in a few days although I suspect his real business (the photography mag) might demand his attention first.
