I'm confused. The original is Australian.
Seppo is no longer an American thing IMO...
You understand where the term seppo comes from right?
Yes, surfed with him at Sunset in the 80 and was good to surf with, very different person round the Yamba area I think.

So let me get this straight. Some people think the term sepo-short for septic tank which is rhyming slang for yank as in Yankee as in American should be used to describe any big noting loudmouth?

Can I also point out that drop kick is short for drop kick and punt which is rhyming slang for.....
Put your big boy pants on
I mean, tastebuds? WGAF?

Beachley Classic at DY has been canned. Girls rip at Bells and get rewarded with another comp gone off their tour. They have so few events it's almost not worth crowning a world champ. Think Carissa's got it sewn up now.

Wow that's huge news. And sad too. The girls really get the raw end of the carrot.

And as you all know me well enough there's no need to say this, but just incase; no pun intended of course.

Seeing as this has been revived let me explain betterer, I picked up a guy from baja mexico hitching and he ended up surfing with me for a few months around vicco and south aus, when i referred to seppos as seppos I had to explain the whole yank tank, septic tank thing and being Mexican he loved it. One day we were out at my local and a group of blokes paddle out and proceed to try and take the place over by talking loud and trying to intimidate, Mexican mate turns to me and says "so you have seppo's too" he had a good point.

It's because longtom (mischievously?) didn't display the sense to put 2017 somewhere in his 2017 Bells Beach comp thread title. Which, going by the title of this thread, displays a damning pattern of poor internet practice.
