Looks like there were a few drop ins and interference calls?

That's right legion nobody cares because its much better to talk about skid marks on chinos and how to get dog poo off $300 loafers or if talking about surfing what size fin would best fit on a 7S mini mal for a 120 kilo tranny from Rooty hills
All good east coast surf related stuff really..........

Really not sure about the double interference call. Both surfers are all but eliminated for essentially doing nothing wrong. They are already at a disadvantage because they have lost the scoring potential on the wave they crash into each other on...why is further penalty required...especially such a harsh one?

Sorry if this is such a dumb question it causes offence

It's a bit like the naughty step I think bindy. They need to learn that it's wrong.

I was the beneficiary of an interference call in my one and only surf contest. Paddling interference to boot. Nobody really knew what it was given for; I think the consensus in the end was that the judges just didn't like the other kid very much

I think that same thing happened when Julian Wilson beat Gabriel in a final last year??? (the not liking part, not the interference)

Good luck and well done on the heat win...the last contest I went in I dropped in on a guy who was freesurfing...he ran straight over me and nearly knocked me out...was pretty funny!

And dont forget this...no matter what that other kid achieves in his life...whatever successes he has...however many millions of dollars he makes...YOU ALWAYS HAVE BEEN AND ALWAYS WILL BE...BETTER THAN HIM!!!

Don't forget untimely rectal discharge. We talk about that too.

If Bells gets to six foot plus, I'll be rectally discharging all over the place. Like a snail.

Julian gets an interference first wave and still beats Kolohe. Weird heat.

Julian Wilson just beat Kolohe Andino after copping an interference call at the beginning of the heat.
Pretty rare occurrence ... winning with a halved second wave score ... young Kolohe would not be a happy chappy right now.
The surf is a bit how-ya-goin though.
The moving finger writes and having writ moves on ... now all thy piety nor wit shall lure it back to cancel even half a line ... nor all thy tears wash out a single word of it.
