Is your friends name Steve?

If so then yes. If not then the answer is a flat out no.

steve, you have come to the right place. realsurf is full of fashionistas.

id try wearing some acid wash denim, cut off at shin height, match this with a pair of bright white socks and a pair of mausser sandals. if going to byron, id style this with a fedorer hat. and for extra style, please remember to pluck all nose and ear hair before entering raes for lunch

When you say jacket, do you mean suit style jacket? Perhaps teamed with jeans?

Trent Nathan recommends a navy blazer with brass buttons. Can be worn with jeans or dressed up with white chinos. For a full Thurston Howell the third look a capt. hat, martini and cigarette holder complete the look.....or just wear sluggos underneath for a dodgy deviant look.

yeah, thats what I was thinking.

got a nice pair of bone linen trou from the Ballina Op shop.

Thinking navy shirt, light blue blazer and a panama hat.

For the next prawn and porn night at Merks, where the dress standard is always high.

i just feel that casual has become the enemy of style. The desth if the individual. .."soo cassj' can kiss my arse.
It's just an excuse for hapless mimick meez to mimick each other in matching trousers and tops.
I once complimented kevin Spacey on his jacket - a natty baby blue and white small check seersucker, two navy buttons, no vents, flapped pockets - before he later revealed his true self, an unmitigated cock smoker, .....that's another one....

So yes Steve, definately the jacket. Smart and elegant yet playful. yep, if I had the quid, I'd go that his summer Steve, teamed with anything from a snug fit plain T or polo top, a white cotton South Pacific open neck shirt, a stripy long sleeve t, to a chest flattering ribbed wife beater even .. it's that versatile!
Along with anything from the chinos,as you say, though , seriously, chinos are now simply the uniform pant of choice for most barely post adolescent boys.
Versace have these fcuk me gun metal grey leather jeans in a boot leg cut that are sheer dope and the prefered option for a more dignified self confident indvidual operator like yourself. They don't so much shout out "ich been to Berlin" ! But more a Deitrich style guttural drawl.. "don't faark wiss me hippeee sheet"!
The GVs've got that cool vintage thing going down so damn bad in those bitch jeans, peeps'll think you ripped them up off Jim Morrison's corpse....
If thats a bit hot for the Ox, just go with basically anything calf hugging, low on the waist and teams up with a pair of royal blue winkle picker loafers made of the finest kid leather suede.
Fcuk cassj Steve.

Hi Skip, thanks for the excellent advice.

I would consider the leather trou but Rhett Hutchence (Michaels bro) cuts an omnipresent figure in them and has kind of cornered the market in dissipated wannabe rock stars, if you get my drift.

And I always wear a collar, when it's time to announce to the missus that No, I won't continue this slide into sumptous poverty. It's time to make a statement and make a stand.

Things have sunk to a very low level. It's trench warfare here and I fear if I don't go over the top now, it may be too late.

leather? he must have inherited those from his brother. i've never seen rhett in anything but multicoloured, multi-patterned parachute pants (is that the right name? baggy ass, tight ankles?)

Is sassy not back?

Vibrant colours hugging the skin is what this summer is all about.

Come to the conclusion that tight fitting Ts can get fcuked.
I might look slightly less slovenly from afar, but when people get within wind of me all they can sense is that the fashionable fabric jammed up in my pits is a whole microclimate of wrongness.

The sight of the nsw opposition leader in distressed jeans, pointy toed black boots and charcoal jacket trying to look convincing during a foto op doesn't say much for the future of this state.
