It wasn't as uncrowded as you would expect - if you look carefully out the back there seems to be quite a few watercraft around.

BTW, is this part of the so-called Skeleton Coast (of "Endless Summer 2" notoriety) :?:

I sailed through the Pacific in '96.

We found many waves in the Marshalls and Micronesia.

Surfed P-Pass every day solo for a couple weeks whilst on Pohnpei.

At the time, according to locals, only one American guy had surfed it and been bitten by a shark.

Found bleeding in his tinny by the locals.

His board with prominent crescent bitten out of it was hanging in the bar by the harbour where we were moored up.

You could buy rolled joints at corner stores at the time and the lokes would get you on the betel nut and karaoke evry night.

For some reason I've been super horny for O P Point of late.

And I've fallen in love with H Bay. Hoping to get it a bit bigger after Chrissy as she starts throwing out nicely. Oh I just cracked a fat.

Heaps,.

I know one in the middle of the Marshalls that is probably going unridden right now.

we called it Erics, after a mate of ours father: an alcoholic school principal who died suddenly of a heart attack.

There's a spot I've been sussing out for years. couldn't narrow it down for a while till one of my brothers found it by chance on google earth.

there was a double page spread of it from ASL I had blue tacked to my dunny wall years ago,
NC knows the photo.
a Ted Grambeau shot.

the wave is at just the right size where you know no one is going to bother you. (unless they have a ski)

it appears like a volcanic island, the photo from up on a hill like Lennox.
a wave like guillotines that runs like G land reversed.

the caption mentions how there are no power poles, or man made objects in the background.

i am going to surf this place one day

fcuk shearer you're dead set peter troys love child ain't ya?

(just jealous)
Big time Ron. Im right handed and surf rights 90odd% of the time. When i surf rights i feel like im surfing. When i surf lefts i feel like im surfing lefts. If that makes sense.

Although i have ridden the best tubes of my life on lefts. At One Palm were were getting up to 10sec tubes. Whats more, was the distance covered in those tubes. Super Suck was also a great.

p.s. Steve you fcuker!

always wanted to surf a bar down meremibula way, never have, went there but wasnt working, swell not big enough. :( Would love to do great barrier reef, many waves out there that would be solo missions, for me no need to leave australia, boring as I may sound but so many destinations I plan to visit before its time to hang up my board.

Had a chance at that bar too Digger.
'twas closing out and out of control. The opposite end of the scale. Even our resident realsufer there wasn't going near it.
But he sold me on it. I'll be back.
