I hear that poor whale died from a collective Newport stink-eye, courtesy of NC and Reg.
Stink-eye can be a powerful force in nature.

I am sure NC will just tow it out to sea so he has the pool back for nipper squad training.

How about inviting the Japanese and Koreans down to Newport for a free feed

Reminds me of the story about a neighbour of mine who had a dead cow on his land.
He gets a neighbouring farmer to come over with his backhoe to dig a hole to bury it.
While the hole is being dug he has a brain wave, why waste all this meat why not cut some off to feed to his dogs.
So he goes and gets his chainsaw, starts it up, blood, skin, bits of bone and guts flying everywhere.
