I would like to nominate myself

As a Victorian I could be helpful in ensuring a more balanced content is achieved between the whimsical metrosexual musings of NSW members, the right-wing conservative bleating from our rather, shall we say, intellectually challenged QLD brethren and of course, the rest of people from Australia and OS who are always amused at their whining about flat spells and how awesome they think 4 foot peaky windswell is.

And rest assured, I have put the pubic hair loofah incident behind me. I realise that in the interests of public health and Karlos's propensity for nausea about said incident, that it is best I no longer engage in this practice

I would like to nominate oldman.

He has been around a long time and has seen the worst and best of the breed, and so will know where to draw the line without imposing his own standards on others. He is occasionally cranky and so retains the unpredictability so important in a mod -- that time honoured willingness to go into battle with the forumees he most dislikes. Also I suspect he might refuse the position even if elected.

You're in G-rooter.
So would be oldman if he's accept the post.

We also need to work out who would mod which threads.
From what I remember, most mods looked after two or three threads, with overlaps so someone was on line as often as possible.
Admin have access to all areas.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Fong,
there's relatively limited use of the forums over the weekend (could it be a lot of our regulars only use them to skive off work during the week?).
You might consider letting the nominations run for another week.
But, entirely your call.

No mate. Not quitting. I have an admin position anyway.
Fong just felt there should be more than one and as I've said before, I agree with him.
There always were several - most of whose names are still at the top of the threads. But over the years for various reasons they've dropped out. Fair enough. They contributed plenty.

I think if we then come up with the lowest offset score from the highest ranked mod, and then find its square root and then apply the pie formula we will be left with the top three mods. But! Only two positions are open.

At this point we will collect all three prospective mods and place them into The Large Hadron Collider and find their god particle. It's a small speck, so we'll have to really look hard.

... only then will we have our next mods to guide us through the dark passages which await.

I think he's looking at something else. Can't say it in General Surf Discussion.
