PADDLEBOARDERS ARE ALL @&#%s...WITH ONE OR TWO EXCEPTIONS!

Post by spotty » Thu Jun 21, 2012 3:22 pm

Just witnessed a @#&%en hostile takeover at Freshie today...3 or 4 @&#%s on paddleboards taking every @&#%en wave for 2 hrs straight..with no @&#%en regard for anyone else...and filming themselves doing it on their @&#%en GoPROs. What a bunch of @&#%en losers...i nearly vomited just looking at them. They looked like a bunch of @#&%en cheap watches :(

No, it's just that Spotty rides a mal.

There is/was an older bloke rode a goat-boat at Pines down Hatchy's way. He had one leg (behind his back, we called him Pegleg). Was a nice bloke. Sharing happily reciprocated. Surfers believed he had a valid reason and he wasn't a prick. Used to paddle his crutches out and attach them to a buoy wide of the reef

Actually i missed the best of it due to commitments...but that is by the by. I am an avid surfer...and you know very well yourself that it is in fact the 2ft days when courtesy and fairplay are most important.

Actually that is misleading to say that i ride a mal...by that definition any surfer who has surfed a mal "rides a mal"...i ride lots of different boards...mostly shortboards...i am very discerning about my equipment. Are you just speculating or just misled?

Out at Bower last Wednesday at Dusk. Two Sups were charging hefty bombs, pulling in, geting smashed. T'was quite a show & definitely broke the stereotypical
Idea I had of them as a whole (of course not the dudes suping chopes & cloudbreak)

Its the pilot, not the plane. We don't have too many of them, but the ones i've seen round here share. mostly stay away from surfers, and even give warning when decent waves are coming. One of them is a former surfer, who surfs his quite well, and has snapped one of them at a local reef. You can imagine the kind of wave needed to snap one of those haha.

Did you drop in on any of them, to highlight their greed?? Or did you bottle it up and save your anger for RS?

3 strikes policy Spotty

Then drop in on them, get up close next to them them and paddle in front of them.

Works pretty well, I do it all the time and most get the point

See. . .I never understand this. . .so what if they were having a dig?Is it any more impressive to do it on a paddleboard? They are @&#%en roosters.

I hear you Ron...it was slim pickings...Freshie was the best option between Longy and Manly. It was actually pretty ok. I have surfed it quite a bit lately, just because its a nice change, a beautiful beach, and the locals are a nice crew. :D

when it works off the pool, which i admit is damn rare, its a fun wave

the fact that it is rare just adds to it when you got it.

its part of the whole vibe man !!!
