Why is the quality of the surfing often inversely proportional to the quality of the music?

I thought the music was OK, nothing to write home about, but way better than the usual default surf vid settings of (1) Jack Johnson organic granola hippie vibes, or (2) nu-metal groooooaaaaawwwwwwwwrrrrrrrr

I, for one, would love to see a clip set to a track by The Smiths or post OK-Computer Radiohead. Apparently even the first Twilight movie had a track from Radiohead's In Rainbows.

I was looking up some info on South Lombok and stumbled across this clip of some Japanese surfers in Lombok. And the backing track ... something by Taylor Swift.

Great stuff, Steve. I never thought I would hear "Last Night I Dreamt That Someone Loved Me" in a surfing clip. Now if only someone would use "This Charming Man" in a clip ...
