So, what's the story. As far as I can tell, there is no swell on the way and the only sand I can see is at D'bah. Is this going to be a flop or what?

Nah mate, as luck would have it I am working on a movie down the coast the whole first week and maybe into the second.

If the connest runs into its last waiting period days then I'll come and watch the finale for sure.

Which I suspect it might.

Nup, FuelTV has the mens WT locked up this year.

shearer I laughed pretty hard at your conversation with the Captain of Industry yesterday, in which he claimed the competition between events is making the webcasts better. What the FCUK is he talking about. Don't any of 'em realise the sport itself is competing against all these other sports for attention??? That's where the battle lies.

Stupid brands! Wake up ASP. Stop competing against yourselves and start competing against the outside fcuken world. Aim up! Outdo the NRL, not each other! Oh wait, no, that's too scary and difficult. Let's just keep battling it out for rack space in surf shops.

Christ on a bike. I give up.

Why aren't the ASP replacing Brodie? Are they saying nobody, quite literally, can do a better job than Brodie?

They just lost Jbay, the global economy looks to worsen before it heals. Seems (to me) like this is the most crucial time to have someone steer the ship.

It's dumb and dumber stuff.

You're up and on the airwaves early this morning Nicholas ... so if you'll allow me to use your latest catch phrase ... devil on a dinky ... what gives with J-bay's downgrading.

I remember having this discussion a while back with Fong, and his crazed ambition to wreck every tour event possible, but I would like to know... While the contest at Snapper is on, am I able to surf snapper at all? Or does the comp have rights to every wave in that area during contest time?
