This one was made by the bloke surfing it, but it also had a step in bottom. It's not a great pic, but the stinger and step are quite obvious in this shot.

Can any of you roosters ID the surfer? ( ... you don't get a guess prids...)
It's not Midget in his hairy days is it?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

It is indeed Wayne Williams. An unbelievable surfer that could rip shit on a dunny door. Even if the door was still attached to the shithouse itself! A sadly missed, long time friend. RIP Crumpet.

I got a board off Wayne when I was 14 and on hols in Yamba. And my shop was where his shop was ( or possibly next door), had mixed reports from people...but heard he was a bloody great surfer... 8)

Apologies for the thread revival, but does anyone know how Wayne Williams died? I had the utmost pleasure of staying at his families beach hut at Angourie this weekend and I met Lyndall Williams and she showed me some great old photos of Wayne ripping it up at the point.

I think Lyndall may have mentioned something that he might be making boards?

Haven't been to angas for over a decade now, last time I was down there I went to Wayne's to pick up a new quiver of boards for my wife's uncle out by the lake. Wasn't long before he tragically moved on.

Already missed it mate. The annual one is May. No surf now on the east coast until Nov-Dec at best. Time to look O/S for a surfari in the next 3 mths or so!!!

Snuck in a sneeky one last weekend/Mon/Tues, but ended up only getting one surf in on the Tues morning....but feck it was so much fun.
