The Outsider
Everyone put your hand up if you would like to read The Outsider (Steve Shearer) articles in between ASP comps as well...? I dunno what about, anything about the surfing culture/world/industry....
What does everyone think? Where do we vote?
The surfing world needs more journalists like SS that say it like it is in his own way! A good laugh as well!
*puts hand up*

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Re: The Outsider
hell yes
the man always delivers insights, far better than the usual drivel that passes for surf journalism.

Re: The Outsider
I would like him to write about his experience with different breeds domesticated fowls in between ASP tours stops.

Re: The Outsider
Wise words, again, There young fella.
But you know, one minute you're a Grom, next thing ,yer a charger, mouthing off at all and sundry. it happens very quickly. Bide your time there youngster.
But you'd be surprised to learn however. that despite his fondness for a savvy turn of phrase. Steve's a man of simple pleasures. Much like yourself, I hazard a guess. No frills, no bells, you know the rest. In fact he loves his xxxx, just like you. and secretly harbours a deep desire to be accepted within the hallowed inner sanctum of the pro surfing journalistic fraternity. But he stubbornly refuses to wear silly hats.
Suggest that you read some Dan Brown or Harold Robbins, that should help frame your understanding of this simple but thoughful man.
By the way, that's a wicked avatar you've got there!
is it MP?
