who wants a Quikky ?

Post by pridmore » Tue Feb 22, 2011 6:34 am

Quikky pro stars in a few days, any thoughts on who will win this year ? Is Sunny gunna compete ?
Will Jeremy and Sunny be in the same heat ? Can Julian Wilson make a big impact ?
Hows the forecast looking for the waves ???? lets hope the coverage is good, hope FUEL TV are showing it live again .... 8)

Yep, im a little bit frothing.
Stick my neck out (not far) and call Parko for the win, just for the hell of it. He's pretty hungry, in form and knows Snapper better than most.

Is baldy confirmed in the draw?

Hey Mr Shearer - wot's the surf like for the connest? Any long(ish) range progs?

Don't think Sunny can compete Prids, he's not on the ASP WC circuit and not in top 40. I think he's on the QS circuit (ranked no 104 in the world, whatever that means). Going on his behaviour of late, maybe he should get a wildcard status.

yeah, throw Sunny in I reckon.... I think Shearer is doing his thing for Swellnet again ( yet to be confirmed but hope he is...) I'm tipping Taj, Parko or Julian...reckon he'll shake things up quite a bit this year.....

Werd is: his punching bag has realized the error of his ways and pleaded with officials to let him compete. "I didn't mean to cast the first Stone".
And he'll be his caddy.

Lucky he wasn't commentating the A-League, the female linesman there is named Lisa Ho... who knows how much worse it could have got.

Is Andy Irons competing this year? I heard that he was on the comeback trail because he won a connes at somewhere called Copes.

Occs the best, he stumbles over a few words and dribbles some shit but it make sfor good listening and the odd laugh, rather hear it from him than some guy who hasnt been there and done it....plus a few insights coz he is mates with alot of the top pros...least he is real, not too cool and all image and hats and headbands.....

"Should I stay or should i go?"

I guess failing to achieve your 11th in the year 2011 could be an anti climax in an already climactic career.

Has Andy's death rattled Kelly despite a inspired 10th crown?

What's the surf forecast for the rest of the week by the way?

Yeah but if Dane was there there'd be a good chance that he'd have had it.. Am watching the event but for me there isn't the excitement there was last year.. If the waves get better as they are predicted to it could be a different story..

What do you think Marcus? I'm always keen to hear your input.
