Not really. The little ones have got boogie boards and the oldest one has had a few goes standing in the whitewater on my tuflite zap. I'm an incredibly selfish person so would really prefer it if they decided that not to encroach on my surf time but we'll see what happens when they get a bit older

When mrs duck wanted me to teach the ducklings to surf I was diligent about it for a while and they feined interest in it for a bit. It usually led to me jumping on a coolite or longboard after their feined interest and surfing while they played in the shorey.

On another note, shrug just left the bathroom after a shower with the towel loosely draped on her torso. It sort of fell away while she was closing the door and I happened to look up at just as it was unfolding. She was unaware of the event, I think. I love an accidental moment.

My wife would have no illusions whatsoever regarding my level of attraction to a house guest like shrug. I would pay dearly for my keen interest in shrug's towel coverage, but no cost would be too great. There are some things money can't buy.

Using plastic bags for the legs is big in the adult learner community, I hear. Perhaps give that a try duck? Although on thinking about it, that's probably more of an 'on' thing than and 'off' thing. Maybe instead you could pop into Uniqlo with jimmy next time he's getting the waistband on his trousers let out and ask them to put in some little zips

I think duck was complaining about getting out of the wetsuit. Plastic bag no help there.
And I find wetties are so flexible these days I have no problem getting them on or off. The half dozen or so times a year I wear one.

Probably OK for you city dough boys who paddle a Kay a session at a beach break, if you are lucky.

Throw in a winter session where you are paddling miles against wind and current day after day . Different story.

Also, for any Mong with a mildly scientific mind, conduct a little experiment where you lie flat and then arch your back, like you would when paddling on a surfboard.

Correct. It is on the front of the torso. The chest and shoulders.

Exactly where you want increased freedom of movement they have restricted freedom of movement, with seams and zips.

Dumb design.

Getting out of a back zip after a long intense session where your shoulders are screaming for mercy is so elegant, so sensual, so right. It's like eating a mango in summer.
Wetsuits are an abomination, cold water is just wrong. If God had meant us to surf in cold water he would have given us all an inch of blubber. But adding the insult to injury of a defective design which you pay a premium for just elevates the situation from the absurd to the insane.
