It's more a fetish thing and I've had a backzip for nigh on 30 years. They work. In a world of constant change I like my wetties to be backzipped!

You got reamed rusty.
My 3/2 was $220 from overseas, delivered.
Not really, I paid 400 for the 4/3 that is $700 retail and $300 for my sealed 3/2. If something goes wrong, return it to the shop no questions asked. I do have to pick it up from the shop though. I think you guys ream yourselves a bit by buying over the internet.Hows that warranty on yours?

I live in Qld, rust, only own it for interstate trips.
I'll be passing that thing onto my grandchildren before I make a warranty claim.
Only problem is that I've lost weight so it's too loose now.

Just scored a Tribord front zip wettie at Vinnis for $50. Seems very well made...stretchy, good fit, easy to get the flap on. They're a French Brand I think.

They're Decathlon's own brand. Some stuff is ok but the wetsuits are pretty bargain basement

Yeah, I saw that on the site but this ones really stretchy and really heavy duty taped seams. Good fit and I like the key pocket on the leg.

tell me more. Got a link? I'm in the market for a new one. Lace up, if possible. These 'zips' are too complicated

My next steamer will be a Need or those blokes from Burleigh that sent Shearer a free suit.
I got a pair of boardies from Need a couple of years ago for $50 and they’re the best I’ve ever had. They also come in plain colours which for me is preferable.
I think the Need 3/2 long sleeve steamers are $180.

I entered the Facebook comp by Arzen to win a 3/2. Probably overkill for North Coast winter anyway.

That was 5 years ago, before the clampdown on overseas retailers.
