They are also belatedly acknowledging the purchasing power of "outdoor pursuits and activewear" (true!).......how good is that?

Soon, you'll be able to get muddy in Bong, Rip Curl or Quik kit.

I've heard that back zips are going to be coming back in, not because they are better but because the manufacturers want you to have now, so they'll market them as better, you'll listen then buy them. Simple as that!
Like changing the formula for Coke then bringing back the original flavour.

oh-oh.

Looks like the hipsters have "discovered" back zips.

This is happening fast, fellas. Invest in backzips now.

It's been a long time in the making, and it's finally here! The Thalia Surf Be Grateful 3mm wetsuit is our signature retro back zip suit with limestone based neoprene throughout. It has jersey material on the inner sleeves and legs and smoothing neoprene on the chest and back. The inside of this suit has glued and fully taped seams throughout to maximize warmth. It also has our grate plush lining in the core section which is a soft hollow fiber to keep you warm and comfy."

Godsave read this one so wrong.

Far from being the preserve of aging baby boomers like active wear and lycra, backzips are now the hippest, hottest thing tickling the genitals of yoof.

It'll probably take a few years to trickle down into far flung backwaters like Wales, but they will get there eventually.

This act of wanton vandalism inflicted on the unwilling many by an entitled and vocal minority clinging to a faded and frayed ideology will make Brexit look like the feeding of the five thousand. Of course, the feeble minded and the credulous will lap up the promises of jam for breakfast, lunch and supper and rush to copy the emperor's new clothes. Only when all the chest zip factory chimneys are stilled and they sit shivering in Backzit's chill wind will they realise that they have been sold a pup. Rise up, brothers, it's not too late to halt this madness

As Barack Obama, America's greatest president, famously said in relation to the (upcoming) resurgence of the backzip: "The arc of history bends towards justice"

So, I've been wearing back zips since before they were cool then.

Me too.
The old story.
I've been wearing this so long it's back in fashion.

Are Godsave and Shearer over egging the rhetoric here, or is it just me.

Yeah I bet William Howard Taft wore some crummy Dawn Patrol shoulder zip

How terrible is it that nobody remembers the shoulder zip.
