How awesome are the first 10-15 wears of a new high quality wetsuit in cold water? Awesome

Despite a second prompt last week, haven't heard back from Jelena about whether the 2/1 ION hood is made of neoprene

Also finding it exceedingly difficult to get an Excel Drylock in my size so it might be back to RC. PM if you will, please, Legion

How's the timing? Jelena says the 2/1 is neoprene

LS. PM received. Need to delve a little deeper into their site. Already aware of them, but thought the exchange rate made it not really worth it anymore. However, as per your PM, last year's models can be pretty good, but I might have missed the 3/2 boat. Cheers

Yep, missed it. Only 2016 Flash Bomb 3/2 s left in my size. 325 and 315 pounds for chest zip and zip free respectively. Zip free sounds good, but lack the smooth skin chest and back panel. Probably no issue if I have a vest over it

I ordered a vest. Bit of a sting at $120, but it's only money and I have no kids. BA, smn, Pig & daryl all know

Can wait for October and plan for next year, but I also need something now. Only suits I have righ are leaking. Matter of weeks before they just won't do

Looking at a couple of international sites for Xcel Drylock, but the exchange rate is a killer. Cheaper here I'm starting to think, but then there's the fact that nobody seems to have the complete size range in Aust. From their chart, I'd be a ML. Yet to find one in Aust. Stupid fcuks at Surfstich have a single chart for all wetties. I pointed this out to them ages ago, but they haven't done anything about it despite saying they would

Hey SWVIC, I'm looking at getting one of these https://www.vissla.com/shop/wetsuits-lycra/ 4/3 is going to be around $300 or less, they look pretty good with a 1 year warranty, looks like they sell them in your town.

If you are very small or very large, then some very cheap suits here (but very limited range)

Heard good things about those Visslas. My first psycho 3 was chewed up by my dog God bless him, the second one has split seams after less than 2 winter seasons, bad batch apparently. It's held together by wetsuit repair sealant - not what you would expect from a 600 dollar wet suit. Hearing good things about the zipper less rip curl range. Don't worry AAA I won't send you a picture of me in an extra tight wettie with a pair of footy socks tucked down the front.
