Yep, that. Plus booties, gloves and a hot water bottle for when you get out.

My needessentials has got a massive hole in the armpit. Have had it since August but started wearing it in October or so. If it wasn't for that, i would have been impressed. Fit was great; very soft, stretchy etc. I will try to repair, but i don't think i will buy again. Shame.

Don't be too sad. My rip curl flash bomb from two years ago (that I used for one winter) has a massive hole in the knee from duckdiving. My one from last year wasn't warm enough (the "cheap" non-smoothy model). So you're ahead.
It's a minefield - and often luck of the draw. I've had some suits last four year. Others, less than a season. But you'd expect Rip Curl to have it sorted.

Even without warranty you still have rights.
https://www.accc.gov.au/consumers/consu ... guarantees
Write to them and say it wasn't fit for purpose/didn't meet expectations of quality.

Impressive R&D really. I wonder how much time and money went to designing a product that comes apart mere weeks after warranty expiration. Brilliant engineering.

I know. I find it often happens with electrical appliances. I will repair it.

Oh...... I was gonna get one for this winter....... hmmmm

I ve had my rip curl dawn patrol for two winters & have had two splits in different seams. Always happens in winter when you re wearing it ( obviously) and then you have to send it to Torquay to be fixed which takes 3 weeks..... just make a decent product u fwits. I stopped buying sealed seams etc because they don’t last any longer. The worst wetsuits are the top of the range billabong suits.

As I live in Queensland perhaps I should just toughen up & wear a wooly jumper like back in the day

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.
