The screenwriter admits his creative team often contemplated introducing an openly gay character to a Star Trek film or TV series, but they repeatedly decided against the idea.
Braga regrets failing to explore that final frontier.

Thanks for the reply Nick, appreciate the info.Nick Carroll wrote:I reckon there were two best suits, the EBomb Pro and the 52/12 Fuze. All of 'em were pretty good but those two just had slight edges, the EBomb is so flexible it's crazy and the Fuze's rubber and cut is super thought through.the hulkster wrote:Cheers Nick, maybe its because i have just been reading your wetsuit guide in ASL and i just want a new one. I am sure this doesnt happen on every O'Neill suit it could just be luck of the draw. It has been hanging neatly in the garage for six months over summer i have only just pulled it out a couple of weeks ago. I will send an email to O'Neill with some photos you never know your luck, at least they might appreciate some feedback on their gear at the very least.
Back onto the ASL wettie guide, it was a good read, what do you reckon was the best suit? What would you recommend for a Vicco winter.
The Bong Xero was the warmest, that thing was ridiculous. But any good silicon sealed 3/2 will get you a long way these days I reckon. The Fuze or Xero or Psycho 3 in a 4/3 would be easily up to a Vicco winter. (We didn't test a Psycho 3 but holy crap that wetsuit this year is excellent.)
They still all cut slightly differently, the chest zip thing has changed that a little bit I suspect, they are looser to paddle and move in but if you're strongly built across the chest they can bind a little bit.
Go to a shop and try 'em on.

Sorry, are you implying that Xcel should be avoided because of their association with Billabong?daryl wrote:doesn't matter, fcuck billabong pet

Re: that wetsuit discussion...
I rinse out my steamer after every surf. The Bong wettie lasted me 3 seasons, mostly twice a week sessions in the colder months. I have heard good things about Xcel and a UK mag praised this year's XFlex model, which the model below the Inifiti.OddaP wrote: Petulance, I got a infinity chest last year after being solely an Oneill fan for years. Very good suit, warm and love the chest zip. Only problem is the lining tends to hold smell so don't get lazy and not rinse out the wetsuit after each surf or it will reek!
If it lasts this season that it matches Oneill for durability as well

^^ I get 2 years out of mine and by the end of 2 they are pretty much gone, start washing/rinsing all the time and then I start to fade away, always hang it out of the sun though.
Reckon you will like the Xcel, i got a short sleeved steamer last spring to replace a long sleeved springie I was that impressed.

Groots, do you know why the suits at Dexter are so cheap? Are they last years models? Old stock? Warranty provided?
Re: that wetsuit discussion...
it's summer over there.
edit: brain explosion, thought it was Becker surf...I think they've been banned from posting to Oz, but there are ways around that.
my O'neill Psycho 2 from last year is still fine, imported from the UK for 270ish.

Mine is a 2012 model so I don't think so. I'd imagine they're cheap because they don't have a shop so they can afford to sell them for much lessblack duck wrote:Grooter wrote:MIssus just rang me
