within driving distance of green island.

we are staying at don's cabins for the weekend, and looking at the charts, a fun south swell is coming thru, but the wind is sw on friday - hence trying to find a beach that faces the same direction as manly...

Ona
Re-check your wind data for friday. Wind looks very light according to BOM charts. I would think there would be bugger all wind friday morning as the centre of the big fat High is basically sitting over the south coast. The late morning / afternoon onshores will be the problem winds, but they don't look that strong at this stage from the BOM data.

It's shit down there anyway. The island is fickle, mostly fat and a bit retarded. The spots around the north Bendy area are even more fickle and almost never turn on. Banks are crap at the moment too. Locals are cnuts who let down your tyres. Suggest going further away.

onwave, you clearly know who to use a computer so you must be total retard if you need to ask where south of sydney, you can find a wave that suits the prevailing winds this weekend.

its right up there with - where are the waves on the north coast?

way to kill the spirit of surf adventure...

Don's Cabins?
At least you wont have to worry about break ins if your staying there. The geese will see to that.
