protecting them and letting them breed up...all the time destroying there natural food stocks
is just fuc,kin stupitiy...more sharks...need eat more...but where wiping out there food suypplys

State governments need to get their act together and start buying out pro fisho licences. Go to a fish market and see baitfish like yellowtail and slimy mackeral for sale. Its got to the point where they just take everything.Beach haulers that take tonnes of mullet and salmon that mostly end up as fertiliser or pet food. Little wonder that sharks are running out of food.

I'm surprised the story took so long to be posted here as it happened about 10 days ago. Past stories I've read about shark attacks in Miami indicate that most are non-lethal as the article says. Lemon sharks seem to be the common ones there, not great whites.
Terrible way to go - wouldn't be surprised if the severe blood-loss came from a femoral artery puncture.
