Agree Mical, this is the best event I have seen all year. So much more to it and behind it than the soul less ASP crap I have endured all year.

RCJ is up!

I generally don't tend to watch many surfing contests but this one is completely rad. Well worth chucking a sickie for. kelly's 98, the various closeout barrels.. awesome stuff.

Pipe's going to pump with no sand on the reef to decide what could be the last World Title as we know it between two best friends. That's pretty interesting too isn't it Longy?

Awesome..I have another 6 hours work in front of a computer. The work consists of loading up a slide (30 secs) and then waiting for it to scan (40 mins). Thought it was gonna be crap, stuck in room by myself all day.
Now just found out the Eddie is on, with two big arse monitors, super high speed connection (especially for this machine)...couldn't get sweeter.Except being there
Cheers Ben

Loving it!
Here's hoping Brucey gets a piece of of some of these massive sets coming in in the last hour!
Would have been interesting to see them run it yesterday in the sketchy, leg breaking conditions (for ex world champs!)

Just got back now watching online. As good as the buzz around there is and watching the waves from the rocks is good, i must say online for viewing alone dominates it. Was insane though. Traffic was bullshit.

This is the first time have actually watch a comp live on-line. This seems to be great quality. Have any of you watched other events live? Are the ASP events streamed this well? Have I been missing out??

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Well, that was just awesome to watch. What a day, from the opening hooter with a massive set arriving to the final hooter sounding and a set closing out the bay . . . unreal. The power of the ocean is a beautiful thing to witness.

I was suprised about how much I enjoyed watching a comp on-line.

Greg Long.

Deserved it for that balls-out drop.

Good on you Ben, your situation sounds good.

Second one I've watched, saw some of the Peniche contest but that was on around evening to midnight times.

Hilarious being at work trying to do some work, listening to the commentary to see the waves, switching back and forth.

Really annoying when the guys are calling these sets feathering out the back and the camera is on the tower or some not particularly attractive woman.

Where are the beautiful women at?
