Ive just picked up my snooker cue after a long lay off and started playing agian at maroochydore rsl, It was good to get a few games in and some decent pratice but Im hanging for a decent swell, whats everyone else doing, Im guessing either fishing or praticing tying nooses to garage rafters.

Don't worry about the Sunny Coasters...they don't mind that only seven or eight months of the year are actually surfable because they need the lay off to regenerate their body stocks of fish oil and natural anti-inflammatories, which makes sense when you consider the increasingly grey demographic.Mostly bloody Sydneysiders - the victorians go th Hervey Bay, thank God

And what of the other significant demographic of the region, the early twenties out 'n out bogan, rum drinking, dole bludging, waste of time and space?Again, plenty of NSW (Newcastle. Sydney, Woollongong) drop outs - clogging up the dole queues, pushing in at the checkouts, taking our parking spaces with their rusted out crap heaps with stolen plates and starting fights on the beachfont at Alex. With apologies to Digger, Surfdenbeer, Tiger (and Fong if he's watching) Again, never mind, cause they are using the spare time to create different shades of maroon by closely inspecting and manipulating their overly flogged logs to remind them of their recentand ongoing successes in State of Origin.

The rest just wait for more Victorians to move in and avail them of what is happening around the globe. Melburnians in particular are very erudite and a natural complement to the insularity.
