Go back a little further in time and the crew used to stand on the concrete roof of the swimming club before they added the second story, the one thing that doesn't change is the wave.
I left in 1968 but the point left its mark on me and my surfing.
Here's to Chocko, Smoke Kool, Mac the Natural, Ken Scriven assorted Dessaix, Sasses, Devlins, Pete South, the blind Pomm and the unnamed but remembered crew of the time.
Life was simple then, surf and think about surf :D

Careful. I'm older than Otway.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Didn't know where to put this.
Shot that caught my eye. Still from 'Still Filthy' on the Bong website. Shane Dorian at Tavarua. On top of his game.

It’s actually quite funny.

Dee whys attempt to beautify the WHOLE place by installing some ‘out of place’ restaurants on its foreshore is about as affective as an old harbor side tranny adding a beauty spot to her upper lip to make ‘it’ look more like Cindy Crawford.

It’s impossible.

I’ve done some research. You cant get AIDS from surfing in contaminated water.
