a wise man once said to me ... if you have your head in a hot oven and your feet in the freezer, on average you would not feel OK ...

your question is not one of short arms or short legs ... it's do you prefer cold arms or cold legs ... or do you prefer freedom in your legs or freedom to paddle ...

I recommend :

sleeveless vest
short arm vest
long arm vest ultra light
long arm vest 1mm
tube suit / short john
short arm springy
long arm springy
long john
short arm steamer
long arm steamer light weight
long arm steamer 2/3
long arm steamer 3/4/5
booties
hood
webbed gloves
surf sunnies
and a chocolate wheel ...

I was a long arm man but converted a few years ago to short arm. I'll never go back. Never! It feels normal.

A short-arm inspection in cold weather is just embarrassing.

Dig :)

Have attempted to wipe away chunks of memory regarding South Newie- haunted by fetid, steaming mountain of man turd that moved down the steps and changed colour that was left there 1 morning before we paddled out

I think the guy who did it rode a body board and had a Mike Stewart obsession

Off topic, but I surfed Newie Point in Feb this year with Johnny R, as we were waiting to rock off the guy in front jumped straight into a set got washed straight back on the rocks, he stood back up, jumped off and this time made it no worries, although his mates thought it was very funny :D

mmm, water is finally getting a bit chilly in queensland, started wearing a steamer 2 weeks ago but that is mainly due to the chest infection I got, the steamer is old and thinking of getting a decent spring suit for next winter season, to hot in a steamer up here. But still see people out in boardies and cant wait to get a bit better so I can get out of the steamer and back to boardies agian
