Where did you buy your wetty from?

Post by Revolution » Mon Jun 01, 2009 6:59 pm

So time to get a new steamer is here. Pretty much coldest ill be surfing is south coast (5hrs south of syd probably the furthest). Since i have a pair of balls im pretty sure a flatlock will be fine, not really interested in sealed unless i can find one for $200-$250ish.

So where do you buy yours from? Keep in mind i dont want to be hassled by douche bad shop keepers and am a tight ass so im looking for the cheapest. Considering i avoid surf shops like the plague i dont really know where to go :?

I always go for last seasons bargains. I got my last one from the surf shop at birkenhead point pretty cheap.

Long Reef Sailboards & Surf
1012 Pittwater Rd, Collaroy NSW, 2097
Phone Number: (02) 9982 4829

I don't have any association with the shop but I've always found the people there to be helpful, in a low-key type of way.

I think it's a family-run business. No pretensions and no hard-sell.

na man its fine- except for reverse spins/punts- combination of sliding back from the nose and landing with majority of my weight on said area can cause some discomfort... BUT the ball bag part has super mega stretchy 2mm rubber so it's never been much of an issue- cyclist legs help keep the suit from riding too high

West Enforcer GBS ( Glued and Blind Stitched sealed seams ) RRP $199 for the 3/2, $249 for the 4/3. I can probably get an MT... and might be able to save you a buck or two. PM me if you want. :)

i'm infact a girl. i would strongly advise against buying a small if you are my size- MT is your fit.

don't forget that each brand has a VERY DIFFERENT CUT! so try on both! o'neill is for heavier set dudes, rc is for skinny dudes (as a rough guide) QS is for ppl that have no bones and BB is similar to RC.

sold an h-bomb to a dude on the gc yesterday. turns out he is an ocean swimmer
